It’s almost guaranteed that you’ll go running if someone is waiting for you, so if you’re one of those who can’t seem to take the initiative to go out alone, partner up! When you make a “running date” with somebody else you feel a lot of responsibility to oblige, and once you hit the road you’ll see that you’ll both motivate each other. And, unless you’re really running out of breath, you won’t quit if your partner isn’t.
Just before going on our last R&R we started a running group on Sunday’s to run up the hill as training for the upcoming races and even though we all go at different paces is nice to see each other working hard for our own separate goals. I know sometimes is not that easy to find someone who runs at your same pace but if you do, make a date, it makes it harder to throw the towel.
