Today I have the lovely Gabrielle from Savvy Home, a fellow canadian also living on this side of the world (though she’s going back to Canada soon, and for the record yes I’m jealous!) sharing her favorite makeup products. For some serious interiors and decor inspiration make sure to check out her blog!
What’s your current makeup bag?
I recently bought a no-name (shock-horror) makeup bag in a homewares store. I can’t really say much about it except for I found it incredibly cute! Country Road in Australia sell similar-looking ones and they update their patterns every season!
Is there anything you’re coveting right now?
MAC mascara. I’ve been told on multiple occasions they are the best, but have yet to try one.
Do you have a makeup tip or secret you would like to share?
This may be on the obvious side, but drink lots of water! It will give you a beautiful glow like no moisturizer will!
Any particular makeup trend that you’re looking forward for spring?
I’m digging the red lips trend these days. And since I still haven’t found my perfect shade, I just might give that bold red lip a try!
How does your day makeup routine differs from your night time one?
From day to night, it’s pretty simple, I add eye shadow! I don’t tend to wear it in daytime because I like to keep my makeup looking natural. I usually go for a shimmery smoky eye at night. A no brainer classic that makes any outfit shine.

*Thanks so much for participating Gabs! There’s no shock-horror on having a no-name makeup bag, I think is so cute, love it! I’m really debating between this Bobbi Brown eyeliner and the Chanel one Alex talked about here. Has anyone tried both? Suggestions?
