There are a couple of winter essentials that are worth investing in and a good pair of stylish and warm boots is definitely one of them. If you’re looking for a great pair for the season you should be aware that there’s no need to sacrifice style when the temperature dips and snow starts to fall; to prove it, I have rounded-up 20 pairs of incredibly chic boots that will keep your feet warm and dry!
Shopping for winter boots is something I didn’t use to enjoy very much as I’d find them all to be too big and chunky, but it seems that brands have found the perfect balance between fashion and function, don’t you agree? One brand that is amazing at that (and one of my go-to’s) is Sorel (anyone else a fan?) They do such an amazing job at combining style and function (their styles are the coolest). I own these and I always get compliments on them (they are comfy, waterproof and look great on!) This year I got these and one of my favourite things about them is the pointy toe (something I love in shoes in general). These have been on my radar for some time, and I have to say, although these from J.Crew are quite round at the toe, they look AMAZING. For beyond freezing temperatures (-15 celsius and below), I typically wear these and highly recommend them. They do run true to size but I normally go up half a size to accommodate chunky socks like these 😉
