Happy Monday everyone! If there’s one outfit combo I love and wear ALL the time (I’m sure you have noticed!) is denim on denim, and a simple way to give it a fresh spin for Summer is to pair it with a crisp white blazer, a panama hat, and espadrille wedges. If the weather gets warmer and calls (or begs!) for bare legs, just swap the jeans for cut-offs and you’re all set for a day out relaxing, dining, or shopping.
I took my favourite outfit combo for a stroll and shopping date around the Yonge and Lawrence area with my friend Victoria and Amex, and discovered some really great places. It’s always inspiring to discover local businesses doing great things so I wanted to share a few of my favourites with you.
If you’re ever in the area (or looking for an excuse to go exploring) you’ll want to check out Want Boutique (on 1788 Avenue Road) for some one of a kind clothing pieces. I personally loved some gorgeous eyelet tops and white and blue summer dresses, perfect for warm weather dressing!
Those of you who like organic treats, nuts and seeds, will love Pestacio (located at at 3322 Yonge
Street). This is where I found about nomz energy bites, and now I can’t get enough! Have you tried
them? They’re so good!
We’re always on the lookout for unique gifts for family and friends, and we stumbled upon this cute
shop called Papergrafix, located at 1708 Avenue Road. The owners were so lovely, and I couldn’t resist all of the beautiful stationary, luxurious soaps, fragrances and candles!
Our shopping date ended with some sweet treats and hot tea at Butter Avenue. I still can’t believe it was my first time there, have any of you been there?
