Outfits File: The Button-Front Linen Dress

Happy Tuesday everyone! Hope your long weekend was great and you had the chance to do exactly what you wanted 😉 For all my friends south the border I wish you a happy Fourth of July! I hope you’re still celebrating!
Here’s a dress I had my eyes on from the very moment it was shared on Instagram and one that I patiently waited to get. Since the Spring weather we got was not exactly cooperating for Summer-y outfits, I had no rush in getting it, and decided to wait until the temperatures were warm enough to wear it. Fast forward a couple of weeks, weather and a good sale unite and boom! I was lucky to find my size and the fit was just what I had in mind (you know how sometimes some clothes don’t fit the way you think they will) While sometimes it is best to get what you are 100% sure about right on the spot (so that you don’t regret it later), there are moments when a little patience pays off 😉 Two other ways to wear this dress would be one: with lace-up flats (how cute are these!?) and a panama hat; and two: heels (love these!) and statement earrings ðŸ™‚
I wasn’t able to find this dress available online, you may have luck at your local store, but I found two very similar dresses in case you like the style. There’s this one (although it doesn’t have the button-front skirt it does tie at the front and it comes in a similar colour) and there’s this one which comes in 4 colours. Both are less than $75 🙂
