The new year brings new beginnings, new possibilities and new opportunities and in order to start it right we must put our best foot forward and get our act together. If there’s a life motto I live by is Benjamin Franklin’s wise words “Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today”. I certainly apply this on a day-to-day basis and let me tell you, it keeps you organized and on top of everything.
Here are 15 things you can do this month to start the year off right! What have you done already? I took a whole afternoon at the beginning of the year and went through ALL Matthew’s toys. We cleaned up, organized and separated what we could pass down to my nephews and what we could donate. I love teaching him from early on to be kind and generous and I love even more that he never puts a fight or acts selfishly when I tell him that we should give some toys to people in need. I also went looking for new glasses and just need to update my prescription to get them. I booked a hair appointment (will book the rest of important appointments this week), got some new plants and flowers over the weekend, rearranged my shelves, I got a new external drive to backup the old one, downloaded files….I feel like I’m getting there and I’m definitely doing all these below! 😉
