Happy Monday! Last Thursday I was lucky enough to be invited to Dinner en Blanc (thank you Nordstrom!) with a bunch of talented and beautiful people. My friend Cait works as a volunteer so I already knew about this event when I received the invitation though I had never attended one. I can’t tell you how beautiful it was and how every detail was taken into consideration with such perfection. The food was incredible, the all white decor was elegant and refined, and the attention from both Nordstrom and Dinner and Blanc was superb. I still pinch myself for the opportunity to attend such an incredible event and I regret not taking my DSLR with me to document it all (lesson learned!).
Since the invitation called for head-to-toe white I decided to try my luck and order this dress from Asos. It arrived just in time and thank Goodness it fit perfectly (runs true to size and I’m wearing a size 2). Since I’m not a fan of white shoes (except for sneakers), I searched everywhere for a simple style that wouldn’t cost me much (they won’t get a lot of use so it didn’t make sense to spend much) and found the perfect pair at Aldo (just $36!). My sweet friend Aylin game me some soft beachy waves to complete the look and agreed to take these photos, thanks Aylin!
