Today I wanted to share my go-to items to take on the plane. These are the things that I always carry with me, plus my laptop and phone chargers, and my garmin of course (there’s no way I’m putting my running coach in the suitcase!) Annnnd, if for some reason I’m traveling somewhere just for a race, I take my running shoes with me too 😉 (won’t take any chances!) Of course, when Matthew travels with me, I also pack snacks for him too, his water bottle, and I fill his backpack with toys, books, crayons….you know, things to keep him entertained 😉

Hand Lotion: L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream – My go-to hand lotion, hands down the best!
Lip Balm: Kiehl’s Since 1851 Lip Balm #1 – Can’t live without lip balm, especially in airplanes where the air is so dry.
Magazines: As soon as I know that I’m traveling I avoid reading the latest editions of my favorite magazines, and I save them for the plane 😉
Snacks: I’m not the biggest fan of airplane food (well, who is it really?), so I always make sure I have with me some healthy snacks like almonds, granola bars, an apple…and if the flight is a long one I’d even pack a homemade sandwich 😉

Headphones: Frends ‘Taylor’ Headphones – If there’s something I enjoy when flying is looking out the window while listening to good music 🙂

Notebook and Pen: Sugar Paper Polka Dot Notebook / Sharpie Pen – I’m kind of old fashioned when it comes to taking notes and writing down ideas!
Books: I really enjoy reading on the plane and these two are recent buys (currently reading Contagious thanks to Jillian who recommended it to me)
Socks: Madewell Happy Socks® X Madewell Trouser Socks – If I’m wearing flats or sandals, I always make sure to have a pair of socks to put on in the plane.
Water Bottle: BKR Water Bottle – Those tiny plane glasses won’t do it for me, instead, I just kindly ask the stewardess to fill up my bottle.
Weekender: Lo & Sons The Catalina Large Weekender – Sometimes I don’t take a handbag and I just throw it all in a large weekender.
