Fashion File: Winter Essentials – Part II

And here are some of the other things that keep me warm during the winter, any great recent discoveries that you’d like to share?

Hope you guys have a wonderful weekend! I have to figure out what I’m going to wear to Alt, so I guess I’ll be spending some time with my clothes 😉

BOOTS: If you’re searching for a great pair of winter boots I highly recommend Sperry’s. They are insanely comfortable (they feel like you’re walking on a cloud), and they are super warm. I LOVE mine 😉 Sorel ‘Conquest Carly’ Boot / Sperry Top-Sider® for J.Crew two-tone tall Shearwater boots / Sperry Top-Sider Shearwater boots
PUFFER: Great for snowy days (and for those when you’re just going to throw yourself on the snow too!) TNA Caledonia Puffer
HATS: If your ears get really cold consider one of these super warm hats. Madewell faux-fur hat (similar) / Aerie Faux Fur Trapper Hat / There’s a great one from J.Crew for less than $10 here
WOOL SOCKS: The first thing I do in the morning after getting up is putting my thick socks on, love them! And when the temperature drops way below 0, I usually wear long socks for some extra warmth 😉 Madewell wigwam® countryside wool socks / Madewell over-the-knee ribbed 1937 socks
SNOODS: I find that snoods are the easiest (and most practical) thing to throw around your neck because you don’t have to worry about wrapping it, or fixing it. Aerie Marled Faux Fur Snood (similar) / T. Babaton JOEY SCARF
TURTLENECKS: Club Monaco Nadine Fisherman Turtleneck (on sale!) / J.Crew Merino turtleneck sweater in stripe (currently 30% off)
