What’s your current makeup bag?
I have one from C. Wonder but it’s way too flimsy. I’m looking for something that has a plastic cover to clean easily, and has more structure. I’m eying the Kate Spade ones.
Is there anything you’re currently coveting?
Chanel Sublimage Eye Cream – I got a sample of this one, and swear my eyes have never looked better. At a $$$ steep price, I’ll just have to dream about the full size one day
Do you have a makeup tip or secret you would like to share?
Don’t splurge on lipsticks! I’ve found that cheaper ones work just as well. I love Revlon and Bare Escentuals. Also, I swear by eyeshadow base. It is a life-changing product for your eyes.
Any particular makeup trend that you’re looking forward for fall?
Experimenting with different lip colors! I always stick to light pink, but I’m hoping I’ll try out a red lip soon (I know, I know, I’m late to the party).
How does your day makeup routine differs from your night time one?
I grew up with a mom who barely wore makeup. She told my sister and I less is more, and I really stick to that with my routine. I use just the basics – a little concealer when necessary, blush, light eye liner and ALWAYS mascara. If someone took all my makeup away, I’d fight them for my mascara J At night, I’ll do a fun lip color, or add some shadow for a smokey eye. Again, nothing too fancy. I don’t like makeup to look unnatural.
