Is there anything you’re coveting right now?
YSL Anti Cernes Multi Action Conealer. I used to use this and NEED to go back. This is the only concealer I’ve used that actually covers my red spots! I’d also LOVE all new makeup brushes. It’s really embarrassing how long I’ve had some of them so I’ll just keep that to myself.
Do you have a makeup tip or secret you would like to share?
I am in no way a beauty/ makeup know it all so I rely on two experts for help. 1. My good friend who works for Laura Mercier and 2. The legendary Kevyn Aucoin via his book, Making Faces. If you don’t have the book and you love makeup, you are missing out! Oh and shape and groom your eyebrows! It can make a world of difference!
Any particular makeup trend that you’re looking forward for fall?
There are a few trends that I am looking forward to trying in the fall. A dark berry lip, cat eyes and blue accented eye makeup. I’m thinking of purchasing a blue mascara and will have to seek help on the cat eye situation!
How does your day makeup routine differs from your night time one?
To be honest, I rarely wear makeup during the day. I’m sure I make people around me nauseous, but I don’t like clogging up my skin if I don’t have to. When I do wear it during the day, it’s usually a little foundation, neutral eyeshadow and some bronzer. At nighttime I go for the whole shebang so I use primer, foundation, powder, eyeliner/ shadow, mascara and blush. I usually stick with pretty neutral eye shadows but sometimes will attempt a smokey look. If I’m feeling extra fancy, I may even wear lipstick. Oooh!
