Decor & Interiors File: One Room Challenge Week 3

Week 3 of the One Room Challenge (see week one here, week two here) is here, eek!!! So last week I shared the plan for the entryway and this week I’ll show you what I have in mind for my powder room.

Years ago I bought this wallpaper from Hygge & West and after a failed attempt to install it (I really didn’t try hard enough and gave up super easy, don’t know why to be honest) I took it down to the storage and forgot about it. Given that at least 3 years have passed and I still LOVE it, I’m going for round two and I seriously can’t wait to get rid of the black walls and go for something light!

I’m also taking down that gallery wall and replacing it with one large print, either this scarf or this print, still haven’t made up my mind. I’m also taking down the recatangular mirror and replacing it with a round mirror. Anyone else has a fascination with round mirrors? I’m obsessed with the look! Since the round mirror will free up some wall space, I’m hanging a marble shelf I’ve had for years and that has been reclined on my bedside table ever since I took it down. Thought it would be a great addition. What else? Oh the hardware, yes, changing the hardware for pieces in a black finish (sconces, faucet and pulls) and that’s about it!
