Decor & Interiors File: One Room Challenge Week Two

Happy Wednesday! Time for Week 2 of the One Room Challenge! Today I bring you the inspiration looks I gathered for my entryway transformation and the design plan I have chosen to go with, which is simple, clean, and neutral.

Let’s take a look at some amazing entryways that have really inspired me, so many notes we can take from these! I’m sure you’ll love them as much as I do!

So, after gathering my inspiration I came up with a design plan, which I have to say, was a bit difficult because I like the idea of a gallery wall, an oversized art print, and an oversized mirror. But I can’t do all three! So, decisions needed to be made and this is what I’ve decided for the entry:
1. Change the pendant for something nice! That ugly thing I have has to come down!
2. I’m taking down the mirror and instead I’m putting up a gallery wall, simple and neutral.
3. I’m swapping my console table (which I’ll sell if any of you Toronto peeps are interested!) for a much needed bench (it will be great to have somewhere to take off/put on shoes and throw my bag and Matthew’s backpack)
4. I’m incorporating a runner! I once had this one but it really clashed with the spotted wall so I took it off.
Here are the options I narrowed down for the space, sooooo freaking glad that there are so many great sponsors this year! For instance, I’m definitely choosing a pendant from AllModern, which in all honesty I didn’t know about before but wow, they have so many great pendants! Also, most of the art will come from Minted, yay!! You gotta love Minted 🙂
