There are plenty of reasons to visit Prince Edward County (have you been?), and this week I’m highlighting an amazing option for your stay. Just over a week ago I had the opportunity to visit PEC for the very first time and was lucky enough to stay at The June Motel, you know, the cutest and probably most instagramable motel in the area? The property, created by “moteliers” April Brown and Sarah Sklas, used to be a regular not-so-charming and plain motel. Today, with the injection of their eye for decor and design, this girly and retro motel is Instagram photo-op heaven and the perfect place to unwind for the weekend.
The lobby has an eclectic and retro mix of patterns and textures that work so well together!
There’s not a single corner left unattended or undecorated. The attention to detail is so thorough!
Upon arriving you’re greeted with a side of Rosé.
Rooms are exquisitely decorated with the perfect balance of retro and femininity.
They seriously thought of everything. On the bedside table is a calming salve for a goodnight’s sleep to use and take home.
Tiles and fixtures in the bathroom are spot on!
The breakfast, served in the lobby, offers a variety of healthy bars, scones, juices and granola parfaits.
