If there’s a Christmas tradition I enjoy, is making Austrian cookies, and Spitzbuben (jam sanwiches) and Vanillekipferl (almond crescents) are my favorite to make and give (alright, and eat too) 🙂 So, if you feel like doing some Holiday baking today, tomorrow or on the 25th, here’s the recipe for both of them 😉

You can also make them without the cut-outs on top, and in that case I like finish to them with a powdered sugar/water glaze on top (see below)
