How to Wear The Check Blazer Now and Later

Here’s another instalment of how to wear your favourite closet staples now and later when the new season is here. I’ve been loving how blazers and shorts look paired together so for a Summer outfit I paired this check blazer with my current fave denim shorts and kept the look classic and sophisticated. For day time I’d pair it with some strappy sandals and a hat and for an evening out and about I’d swap the flat sandals for a high heeled version (like these) and swap the hat for a clutch. Easy peasy. Once it gets a bit chilly to wear shorts, throw your blazer over a soft cardigan (this one has a very similar vibe to the one I’m wearing on this post), white skinny jeans and studded loafers (aren’t they cool?!) or simple ones like these (I own and highly recommend!) for a cozy yet polished look.

If you’re looking for a plaid blazer for Fall, there’s this one, this one, this one, this one and this one too.
