Life File: Hiking in Lake Placid

I thought I’d share some photos from my most recent outdoors adventure with all of you in the hopes to inspire you to get out there and enjoy nature. Since coming back from my weekend in Killarney back at the end of August (read about it here) I had been super eager to hit the road again and spend time doing what I love the most so this trip came in at the perfect time. Even though the weather was not exactly what I would have preferred, the views were stunning, the contrast between Fall and Winter was breathtaking and it’s always fun to brace the elements if you’re well prepared and have the proper gear, right? We definitely had a taste of winter and you’ll see once you scroll and see the photos!

This time I went to the heart of the Adirondack mountains and given that I’m almost 100% healed from my foot injury I was not only able to hike up Algonquin mountain but enjoy a beautiful morning trail run 🙂 I didn’t take as many photos as I was hoping (weather got in the way), but here are a few snaps I hope you enjoy!
