Happy Monday, hope you all had a great weekend! It was beautiful and I managed to have a very productive Saturday fitting in lots of errands and activities. And on Sunday I had an amazing time at The Queen’s Plate with Victoria. I got all dressed up and I sported a fascinator and everything (just a little something I made on Friday) for the Hats and Horseshoes Party.
It was a fantastic day: the weather was beautiful and once we got there (around noon) we walked around and admired all the different hats and fascinators people were wearing, we watched a couple of races, had a lovely lunch on the lawn, took lots of pictures, we even placed a bet on two horses (we lost though), and we left late in the afternoon with tired feet (we were on heels all day) but so so happy to have spent the day doing something completely different and fun. I’m really looking forward to going back again in September for the Ricoh Woodbine Mile 🙂
Here are some snaps from the day, hope you enjoy them! Oh, and you may have noticed the new blog design, I’m still fine tuning it so bare with me!
