Life File: The Williamsburg Hotel

Two weeks ago I had the pleasure to escape to New York for a quick weekend getaway and since I had never been to Williamsburg I decided to explore the area and see what the city had to offer. It took a short stroll from the subway station to my hotel to fall head over heels for the city….what a lovely area! The streets are quieter than in Manhattan, the stores are super charming, it’s a great place for vintage shopping (so many amazing boutiques!) and I’d say that staying at The Williamsburg Hotel took the whole experience up a notch. Has anyone stayed here? It’s so conveniently located in the heart of it all, the decor is more than on point (wait until you see the bathrooms!) and the staff is the friendliest. I was taken away by the attention to detail and the services they provide to make your stay truly memorable (practical tote bags to take on your adventures, cute umbrellas to keep you dry on rainy days, and the best of all…cruiser bikes to explore the area).
I highly recommend visiting Williamsburg if you ever find yourself in NY (definitely a MUST!), and staying at The Williamsburg. Even though I wish I had more time to enjoy the high tea at the hotel, I had the most amazing weekend exploring, running, walking, cruising, and eating my way while window shopping round town. I’ll be posting about my favourite places soon, so stay tuned!
