My life file: Race and more

Happy Monday!! How was your weekend? Mine couldn’t have been better, I had such an amazing time running the half marathon! It was a beautiful race, and we had an incredibly nice day. Though I have to admit it was pretty cold (nice day to show up Fall!!) and I was shaking at the start line, but as soon as I warmed up it felt really nice 😉

Running by the lake was blissful: seeing the sun reflecting on the water, the trees and all the pretty fall colors, the weather, the people…it was so so nice. There was a moment between the end of the first song on my playlist and the start of the second one that I really liked: hearing all the footsteps pounding on the pavement. Loved it.

And I felt SO good! I took it easy and instead of going with my plan (to run a little bit slower for the first 15kms), I went with how I felt and I took advantage of the course to go a little bit faster than planned. And man did I enjoy it! I ran so comfortably! I fully enjoyed every bit of it, and of course, now that I know what I can comfortably do, I’m setting goals for another one, but this time I’m going to push it, and give some more!

Hope you had a great weekend! Here are more snaps of my life lately:
