How was your weekend? Hope you fellow mommas had a wonderful day! On Saturday I went for a lovely run by the lake with Matthew while the husband was at a crazy race up north. On Sunday we had brunch at The Saint, where the food was amazing! We then watched Life of Pi, have you seen it? I highly recommend it, the art direction is insane, and the message of the movie is just too deep to discuss on a blog post!
Besides having a great weekend, last week was a good mail week. I received a pair of Tieks (have you heard of this brand? I just did a month or so ago) and let me tell you, they are worth every single penny. I didn’t pay for them because they were a gift for all the attendees at my last blogging conference, but now I get it. They are extremely comfortable, and they fold up in a pouch, so if you have to commute, I think these are the best shoes you could get as they don’t take more space than a wallet. Plus, I have to mention that their customer service is incredible. They lost my pair at the conference and without any big complains on my side, they contacted me once I got back to Toronto, and sent me a gift certificate to order them online. Isn’t that the best customer service? Oh and the leather is gooood 😉

I finally received these and couldn’t love them any more, and the packaging was so sweet and thoughtful, those people at Loeffler Randall really know what they’re doing.

Had a great mail day on Thursday: skirt, tee, bikini top (also here). After seeing how gorgeous that skirt looked on Chassity I had to get it, and she was totally right, this skirt is great quality + design in one (and price too! is less than $25!)
