Happy Monday everyone!! Hope your weekend was great! I want to start the week with some workout motivation and one way (or trick) to boost it, is definitely with some cute activewear, right? I strongly believe that what you wear affects your workout and attitude towards it (I always get pumped to wear something new and funny enough, wearing bright colors for speed workouts always give me a lift!) so with that said, below are some of my favorite go-to brands, tried-and-tested 🙂

OLD NAVY: I don’t believe that cute workout clothes are exclusive to expensive brands, and Old Navy has some gorgeous clothes that won’t break the bank. I’m always telling people how much I love their compression tights, and given that you can find them for less than $30, I’m constantly checking their website for new styles. They hold everything together, they don’t roll down and I always get lots of compliments when I wear them. I’m loving these and these right now.
LOLE: The quality of this brand is amazing, not to mention the beautiful clothes they design. I particularly love how they merge functionality and style with such careful consideration of cup sizes. Their bras are like nothing I’ve seen in another brand (great support no matter how big or small your boobs are) and their tights have all these great pockets that are soooo practical. Some faves right now are their “swim” leggings (they dry fast so they are great for camping or short trips when you have to pack lightly), these (my absolute fave and on sale, capri version here), and these. As for bras, I love this one and this one.
LORNA JANE: I was introduced to this brand just recently and wow, if you haven’t heard from them before, get ready for a serious crush. I remember going through their site and loving what I was seeing, but it wasn’t until I saw the products in person and tried them on that I realized how amazing their fabrics are and all the attention to detail that goes into them! I’m obsessed with this bomber, this bra, this one, basically all their clothes! Highly recommend them!
THE CONSTANT: For those of you who haven’t heard, Aritzia has a small activewear line called The Constant, and as you can imagine, given that I’m such a big fan of the brand, I had to check it out when it came out. The designs are minimalistic and sophisticated, and the quality is great. I own these high waisted tights and they feel like second skin (on sale guys!), these look incredible on and I often wear them with a tee, these and this, to run errands in; and this is kind of edgy but elegant. If you’re looking for “cool girl athleisure” this is the brand to go.
LULULEMON: Well, we all know that Lulu makes stunning clothes, and while I don’t own a lot of their pieces, every time I go in their stores I just drool over everything. It’s not too easy to find their stuff on sale, but they do have a “sale” section on their site which I check when I’m in need of a particular item in the hopes I can find it there 😉 I bought this last year and it saved me all winter.
NIKE: Last but certainly not least, a brand that I’ve been wearing for YEARS and has never disappointed me. I’d say that more than half of my running tights are Nike and I love them. The Epic Lux is probably my favourite style, I own lots of tank tops, bras…you seriously can’t go wrong with a brand that has been in the industry for so long. By the way (and to give you an extra boost), have you seen the new blush collection? LOVE!
