Outfits File: Boho Florals with Old Navy

Happy Monday, hope you all enjoyed your weekend! Last week I had the most amazing opportunity to attend a prints and patterns workshop with Old Navy in no other city than NY. It was a short but really fun trip as my friend Tee was also invited. We had a great time sipping cocktails, eating and jumping from one DIY table to another, just as much as strolling through the streets of Soho, discovering new places to eat and of course, shooting, shooting, shooting 🙂 Going to NYC is already an amazing experience (no matter how many times you’ve been before), but it’s even better when you’re in the company of genuinely nice and sweet people and that’s exactly how I would describe the Old Navy team and my travel partner 😉

WEARING: Karen Walker Sunglasses | Old Navy Denim Jacket* (this was from the Summer collection so it sold out but here’s a similar one) | Old Navy Tie-Neck Swing Dress* (wearing an XS, love this pattern too) | Old Navy Pointy Booties* (so so good!) | Rebecca Minkoff Love Crossbody Bag – * Gifted

The workshop took place in Little Italy and it was all about patterns and prints. There were flowers everywhere (if you know me then you know I was not mad at that at all!) and we had the chance to make our own pressed flower frame and block printed makeup pouches. We also had a chance to talk with the prints and patterns team and learn about how everything is created. I was so surprised to learn that their biggest source of inspiration for creating prints each season comes from the runway! Yes, particularly Chloe and Gucci. Interesting right? Plus, the majority are hand painted and about 80% are created in-house. Oh and you want to know what’s coming next year? I heard that lots of embroideries, but shhh 😉 For now, there are lots of whimsical and romantic florals, something I happen to love!
Below are more photos of what I wore and the event, hope you enjoy them!
Special thanks to Old Navy for the amazing opportunity and for partnering up for this post 🙂
