Outfits File: Boho for First Days of Fall at Andrew’s Scenic Acres

It’s a bit of a sad start of the week with the tragic events in Las Vegas… I’m deeply saddened that these sort of events are becoming more and more frequent, so many lives lost under the most horrific circumstances. I keep thinking about those who are directly affected and as our world keeps experiencing quite a share of tragedies, all I can think of is that one, we have the responsibility to lead by example and teach our kids about respect, tolerance, and kindness; and two, we have to be grateful for each day we have and never take our blessings for granted. All I can say is, be present.

Last week my friend Victoria and I decided to visit Andrew’s Scenic Acres, ever been? They have the most beautiful fields of flowers and after seeing photos on Instagram we had to make our way there! We are definitely going back as we had little time to wander around and want to go back to pick up some flowers and pumpkins once they get more of them in. The weather was a bit chilly so I threw this super cozy vest I have (sadly it’s old, but I found some that are very similar, see below!) over a maxi and wore these super cool booties, anyone else loves the maxi-dress/booties combo? I loooove it. It’s the perfect way to get the most use of your dresses and as it gets colder you just have to add more layers. A leather jacket gives it an edgy vibe, a long cardi will give you warmth, and a chunky sweater will make it look like a skirt/top combo 😉
