I have to say, 2 days before The Queen’s Plate I had no idea what I was going to wear. For days I visited a couple of stores searching for a dress and I just couldn’t find anything I felt comfortable in and within my budget. My little guy was a total champ tagging along with me and being amazing (compliments included!), but as you can imagine, and kid aside, it’s not exactly super fun when you’re on a mission.
Anyway, I was sooooo relieved when I came across this beauty at BCBG, which originally was not on sale, but after finding out that the store would honor the online price, I did a quick search on my phone and who would have known? The dress was on sale with an extra 40% off! Happy dance, happy dance! Then I headed to the craft store and got some supplies to make a little fascinator with Victoria, and little by little the outfit started to come together. Since I went with a black fascinator, I wore my black cat-eye sunglasses and black handbag to tie it all together 🙂
