Outfits File: How to Dress Up the Canadian Tuxedo for the Holidays

As a true denim lover, if there’s an outfit I LOVE to wear is the canadian tuxedo, and one easy way to give it a festive twist for the Holidays is by adding some sequins. The easiest way to add some sparkle is by either throwing over your chambray shirt a sequin blazer (here’s a top seller, and a good one for less) or by layering a sequin top. And since there’s no better season than the Holidays to bust out your sequin pieces, take advantage and get the most out of them by wearing them day and night!

Sometimes all it takes to transition your day look into the night is a quick change of jacket and shoes, nothing more. So swap your comfy day shoes (can’t tell you how comfy these loafers are, highly recommend them!) for some towering heels (these are on mega sale btw), and throw on a sleek blazer to elevate the look in an instant! I must add, if you’re a fan of red, complete your outfit with a bold lip (with something like this) and you have one festive look!

If you’re looking for a great sequin top to wear with jeans, pants or skirts, this one is 40% off right now, if you’re into silver there’s this one for the same price and this one, and if you prefer camis, I found this one ($35) and this one (only $12). This blazer is also worth checking out because the reviews are amazing 😉
