Outfits File: The Dusty Pink Trench for Spring

Happy Monday! Hope your Easter weekend was great! With no school today I’m balancing working at home with an energetic child….wish me luck! I’m stepping into Spring with a dash of dusty pink with this cute short trench I found on Need Supply (it’s on sale!). I love the feminine touch it can add to any outfit, including a super simple white-tee-and-denim look like the one I’m sporting. I’m curious, if you could buy a trench in any colour besides the classic beige, which would it be? Also, how do you incorporate some femininity into your looks without feeling super girly? I think it’s all about the details like silhouettes, colours, fabrics and patterns. A sweet floral top finds the right balance with a cool leather jacket; studs add a touch of edge to any look; pink and sweet tones introduce some softness; sometimes finding that balance is easier than you think, it’s all about thinking what is it that can either add softness or toughen up your look 😉
