I’m going to start my re-cap of the Anthro crafting afternoon with what I wore ok? Do you remember that a couple of weeks ago I mentioned loving this skirt? Well, I was so freaking excited when Kelly from Anthropologie kindly agreed to send it to me to wear to the event! It’s soooo gorgeous in person and the colors are so so lovely, I really am in love with this skirt. It is kind of Tibi-ish don’t you think?
I already know how I’ll be wearing it for fall (a 1×3 ways post soon? likely to happen!), but for the event, I dressed it down with a simple cotton striped tee. Now, some of you may think that I went way too heavy with the geometric patterns (hi mom!) but, in my defense, I think that it does works as the top compensates the large pattern of the bottom. And the sandals tie in with the tee just as the colors of the necklace do with the skirt. I know I still haven’t convinced my mom, but I do like it, and after trying different options this was the one I felt more comfortable in, and that’s what matters right? 😉
Since I forgot to take my camera to the event (don’t even ask me how that happened!), and since my phone died 30 minutes after arriving to the store (incredible huh?), all I have for you is my outfit….deconstructed. Hope you like it and I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Oh, before signing off, I want to send a big THANK YOU and a huge hug to all of you for your kind words and support, you have no idea how much it means to me and I’m so grateful for having such wonderful friends 🙂
