Outfits File: Why a Closet Full of Wardrobe Classics Works

Happy Monday, hope your weekend was great! The more I dig into my closet and purge it I realize that I’m always buying the same and I rarely steer too far away from the classics and neutrals. While sometimes it might feel like you’re constantly wearing the same, having a closet full of neutral and classic pieces basically guarantees that whatever you mix and match, is going to work. There are a few pieces that I would recommend investing in because they have the ability to pull your look together and complete it; a great leather jacket is one example, a camel coat is another one, leopard shoes NEVER go out of style. I always say that before you go and fall for trends, make sure that you have your classics and staples all checked off your list, as they will provide the foundation to play around with more fun and trendy pieces. Plus, you’ll carry them over from one season to another, and they will help incorporate those new additions with more ease 😉
