Last year I discovered tons of great beauty and makeup products; some by chance, some gifted….but among the “new to me” makeup ones these 6 made it to the top list because they have become staples and I wear them on a daily basis. Now, keep in mind, I have products I still haven’t tried so once I do I’ll let you know if I love them and why 🙂
Ok, so after months searching for THE perfect nude/pink lipstick and lipgloss (my absolute favorite, Chanel in Evasion has been discontinued for a long time) I found the perfect replacements from Nars (lipstick in Raquel, lipgloss in Unlaced). If you are looking for the perfect nude/pink lipstick or lipgloss I’m pretty sure you’ll love these, the shade is absolutely perfect.
Another product I bought from Nars last year was their concealer and I love it. Provides more coverage than the YSL Touche Eclat (something I like to use as a highlighter and on my eye lids to “wake” up my eyes) and it goes on super smooth. It’s lightweight but covers well, which in my opinion is the perfect balance.
From Benefit I discovered that there are more products for your eye brows than you can ever imagine and they are pretty amazing. Maaaayyyybe I don’t need the whole spectrum but let me tell you, gimme brow (I wear shade 01) and goof proof have become two products I don’t go out without. Little did I know that a little bit of brow grooming (not just plucking) goes a long way and these products provide a natural finish that I really like. If you don’t feel like you need some brow products, trust me, I used to think like you and now they are part of my daily routine.
