Shopping File: My Top 12 Favorite Blush Nail Polishes

Today I want to share my absolute favorite blush nail polishes with all of you. Maybe you have noticed, maybe you have not, but my go-to shade for manis and pedis is blush. Often times I try something different to experiment with other colors but I keep coming back to the same soft pinks. I do love a deep burgundy or oxblood, but I find that removing dark colors is not that easy and they usually leave stains for a couple of days, do you find that too?

I’ve tried many different shades of pink but my all-time favorite is Ballet Slippers. It’s the perfect soft pink that doesn’t need any layering. Oh, did I tell you about layering? Sometimes if a shade is a bit too much on the dark side or if the color is not soft enough (or let’s just blame it on my mood!) I layer on top another shade to soften it up. You should try it! For example, I feel that sometimes Essie’s Romper Room has a bit too much of white undertones so I follow it up with a coat or two of Skinny Dip or Sheer Fantasy.

Below are my top 12 favorite nail polishes in blush and soft pink 🙂 As you can see, Essie is my favorite brand and that’s because in my experience is the one that dries the fastest, plus, the new Gel Couture collection is pretty amazing. No matter what kind of nail polish I use, I always finish with a coat of the gel setter top coat. It makes a huge difference and not only do your nails look more professionally done (I do my own) but I find that it helps to keep your mani lasting a bit longer 😉
