Untitled File: Being Thankful

Not just today, but everyday.
. I’m thankful for the way that traveling has opened my eyes and mind, not only to different cultures and traditions, but to different ways in which life can be seen, and for a deeper understanding that we all are different but the same.
. I’m thankful for the way I was raised, for my mom not letting me use the word “hate”, and for the way that my brothers and I were taught and told to do things, even when we had other people who could do them for us.
. I’m thankful for being able to see people for who they are and not for what they are. And the more I practice that, the happier I become, because when we understand that beyond our title or job description, we are people who feel, who have good days, bad days, who struggle, who work hard, who care, who love, who suffer; we then become better people to each other.
. I’m thankful for being able to appreciate the good things in life, even when I have not so good things going on.
. I’m thankful for the guardian angels that have been sent my way in the moments I needed them the most. I know that God has my back and that he has put the right people at the right time in my path to help me.
. I’m thankful for the best friends anyone could ask for. I really don’t know what I would do without them. Both old and new, I treasure you.
. I’m thankful for this gorgeous city in which I live. A city that has given me a quality of life that I hardly believe it could have been possible in my home country.
. I’m thankful for the best love I have ever experienced: motherhood.
. I’m thankful for all of you who stop by, who encourage me, who motivate me, and support me; I’m so grateful to have you in my life. Thank you for being so nice to me.
. Lastly, I’m thankful for life. Don’t forget how precious it is, not for one day. Never hold back, seek happiness, and always be kind.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you in Canada 😉
