Summer is such a short season here in Toronto that there’s no better way to take advantage of it than to spend as much time as possible outdoors enjoying the warmth and sunshine. Since it’s in full swing, I’ve made it a mission to enjoy it to the absolute max and that has involved numerous weekend trips to the beach with the family and close friends. For the last couple of weekends we’ve been hitting the beach on Saturdays and it’s such a relaxing and fun way to spend the day. The kids have a lot of fun and we the adults enjoy good conversation, views, food and company. Here’s what I usually bring with me (plus a huge bag of picnic-type food and snacks!) and what I consider the top 10 beach essentials!
