Happy start of the weekend! I’m so glad the weekend is here after a week of trying to catch up! Tomorrow marks 14 days of no running for me as I injured my right heel. I’m desperate to hit the road! Last week it was all about snow activities like snowshoeing and cross-country skiing plus some swimming, and this week I’ve been cycling (took my first Soul Cycle class this week and WOW, that was intense!) and working out at home with some videos. I’m not sure I’m all healed yet, so as much as I’m super eager to run, I’m terrified of going back to zero and wasting all this rest and recovery. I’ve been rolling my heel, applying ice, arnica, apple cider vinegar….everything you could possibly do to treat plantar fasciitis.
